When questioned about the prospects for collaboration between India and the US, Nadella said, “I think it’s imperative especially for India and the United States to be able to cooperate, what are the norms, what are the regulations even, instead of fracturing them.”

In addition, Microsoft has promised to teach 20 lakh Indians. Nadella also mentioned how crucial it is for a business to have a staff that “thrives.” Furthermore, he said that around 16% of the world’s AI talent pool is located in India, and that over the next ten years, Indians will make up almost 25% of the market.

Microsoft Wants To Use AI To Strengthen Indian Organizations

Microsoft wants to “empower every person, every organization in India to be able to achieve more in this age of AI,” according to Nadella. We believe that the most important thing any of us can do is to ensure that the workforce has the skills necessary to prosper in this new era.

In his remarks, Nadella also mentioned the Indian market as a whole, highlighting its standing as one of the world’s fastest-growing marketplaces. He mentioned an intriguing statistic: whereas the GDP as a whole is forecast to reach USD 5 trillion by 2025, the AI GDP is predicted to reach USD 500 billion.

Microsoft Has Been Associated With Indian Firms

It’s crucial to remember that Microsoft has previously been working with a number of Indian businesses, such as ITC, Arvind, non-profits, and IT firms like Infosys and HCL Technologies.

Additionally, Nadella said that he had a meeting with the Tata Group chairman, N Chandrasekaran. He brought up the fact that Air India, the conglomerate’s aviation division, is aggressively using AI and has a specific AI “agent” meant to assist consumers with buying tickets.

Moreover, Nadella thinks it’s never been simpler to use AI technologies to empower enterprises. He emphasized the importance of AI in advancing research, especially in nations like India where major expenditures are made in fundamental science.
