Google Workspace Updates: Birthday Decorations in People Cards and the ‘Suspected Spam’ Label for SMS Messages

The popularity of Google Workspace applications may be attributed to its simple usability and feature-rich experience. The corporation updates these applications with new features in an effort to improve the user experience and increase the number of users. The corporation has just updated this series and included a spam label to SMS communications.

Let’s examine each of them in further depth.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-188459″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/theindiaprint.com-download-2023-09-17t180723.254.jpg” alt=”theindiaprint.com download 2023 09 17t180723.254″ width=”1298″ height=”649″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/theindiaprint.com-download-2023-09-17t180723.254.jpg 318w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/theindiaprint.com-download-2023-09-17t180723.254-150×75.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1298px) 100vw, 1298px” title=”Google Workspace Updates: Birthday Decorations in People Cards and the 'Suspected Spam' Label for SMS Messages 6″>

SMS Messages With Suspected Spam Label
A “suspected spam caller” label is available on Google Voice to flag calls as spam. A similar capability will soon be accessible via SMS texts on devices including Android and iOS, the business has stated. A message will have these labels next to it. Users may validate a spam report that will add all communications sent from these numbers in the future to the spam directory.

Additionally, users may flag a communication as non spam to prevent the label from appearing in subsequent messages. ‘Suspected spam’ is labeled with a red exclamation point next to the message on the screen shot that was included in the blog article. It is accessible to “Voice Starter, Standard, and Premier” customers in the US as well as personal accounts. Over 15 days may pass before the feature becomes visible.

Birthday Cards For People – Celebrations

The business also added birthday decorations to profile photos across Workspace products and Google Contacts in the same release announcement. When a user hovers over a persons card, this will get going. If users have entered their birthday and made it public for others to view, a new animation (including balloons and more items) will play. Each Workspace account as well as individual accounts will have access to this functionality.

Links in the iOS Sheets app
The business said that it would make it possible for users of the iOS app for Google Sheets to enter live links into a cell. The functionality may be accessed by touching the “+” symbol in the upper right corner and selecting “Link” from the “Insert” menu. Before adding the hyperlink, users may add text to the cell for display. All personal and Workspace accounts will have access to this.
