Watch As Rohit Sharma Calls Sarfaraz Khan A “Hero Nahi Banne Ka” for This Reason

The captain of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma, chastised teenager Sarfaraz Khan for not donning a helmet on Sunday during Day 3 of the fourth Test match between India and England in Ranchi. In an attempt to exert pressure on the batsman, Rohit asked Sarfaraz to field at silly point with Shoaib Bashir at the crease, but the fielder assumed his position without a helmet. “Aye bhai, hero nahi banne ka (hey brother, don’t be a hero here)” was Rohit’s rapid way of saying that he cannot field at such a perilous location without a helmet. Play quickly resumed, and the 12th man handed Sarfaraz a helmet.
